The Jerezana knife pendant is made in the shape of a miniature navaja and is conceived as jewelry, not as a tool. The miniature is fully foldable: a small decorative part folds and unfolds smoothly, recalling the movement of a real navaja. In the closed position, the pendant looks calm and neat, like a small amulet for daily wear. In the open position, it becomes a vivid accent and a gesture that expresses character more strongly than words. The Jerezana form appeared in the 17th century and gained its elongated silhouette in the 18th–19th centuries in southern Spain — in the areas of Jerez, Cádiz and Seville. Such navajas served as a sign of status and were part of Andalusian tradition. In this miniature, the history is reinterpreted as jewelry for those who value things with character and roots.
